Greensense Kelp extract is derived from "Ascophyllum Nodosum", the most often used type of kelp with a long history of safe, effective use. It is carefully processed to retain valuable plant nutrients and growth hormones. It is used by major nurseries, Wine growers, Universities, industrial tree farms and plant propagators to greatly enhance the healthy growth of everything, from tissue cultures to mass planted forests. Recommended by many Horticulturalists, garden show hosts and universities. USES: Kelp meal is very good for newly transplanted material, reducing plant shock. It also helps with cold and heat tolerance, prevent plant damage, and helping them recover from existing damage. It is known to increase flowering and fruiting and intensify coloring. This is recommended for use in organic gardening. It has been used for years in countless products from cosmetics, industrial applications, food and even your toothpaste (this product, however, is not food grade. NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION). As a side note, ladybugs seem to love eating this stuff, along with molasses. It would be a great product to use by itself or with molasses to bring in ladybugs, or help keep the ones you have (or just released). Guaranteed analysis; Available Nitrogen(N).............0.5% Available Phosphate (P205)....0.5% Available Potash (K2O)...........0.6% Mix 1 Tablespoon Greensense Kelp Extract with 1 gallon of water. This is the base mix and can be used on any plant material; trees, lawns, shrubs, transplants, potted plants, rooting and cuttings(don't overwater!), indoor plants, vegetables, flowers and seeds. It is nearly impossible to overuse and does not burn. Apply every 1 to 2 weeks during the growing season or use as a dip for seeds or the roots or transplants.
